Governance Gates

Evidence Chain & Audit Reconstruction Simulator

Shows how proposals, gate decisions, evidence gaps, and continuity state form a reconstructable evidence chain for operators and auditors.

This is a pedagogical simulator. It uses simplified visual logic to explain a FoldEngine governance pattern. It is not a production kernel, formal proof, audit certification, robot control system, live client workflow, or disclosure of private implementation details.

Why this matters

A blocked AI action is only useful if you can explain why it was blocked later. This lab walks through building an evidence chain from simulated receipts — not to claim compliance, but to show how FoldEngine supports audit preparation and after-the-fact reconstruction.

What this shows

  • incident setup cards with decision preview
  • visual proposal → gate → outcome flow header
  • horizontal animated evidence chain rail
  • Play chain · Highlight gaps · Show receipt controls
  • collapsible reconstruction notes, product mapping, and value matrix

What this does not show

  • blockchain or immutable legal record
  • compliance certification or automatic audit pass
  • real production ledger writes
  • legal chain of custody or admissible evidence
  • action execution or autonomous approval
  • real database API or CI execution
